Beat B-3 Eiger Nordwand Time Trial Evo Gold

July 3rd, 2008 by tomcatuk

The B-3 Eiger Nordwand time trial in the Mitsubishi Evo is without doubt one of the trickiest 3 events in GT5 Prologue to beat. I went over it again and again, and got highly frustrated with never getting better than Silver. I would imagine with a wheel (I don’t have one so the video below was of me and my sixaxis) it can certainly be done.

Also should point out I made rather harsh use of the handbrake on the tighter turns.

Again I thank you for the videos, they are extremely helpful! :) I’ve been tryin this race a lot and I managed to get silver and I’m only 1 second away from the gold! But I noticed that in the video the time for the gold is 1:14:00 and in the game it’s 1:13.500 ( I wonder why … I don’t have the blu-ray version, I bought it from the UK store.)

Maybe a bit off topic but what are the games that you’re looking forward to play?

Hmm - that’s odd! I’ve got the UK version bought from a shop. Maybe they’ve since changed the times in an update. Gotta do it again since my son wiped my scores, so I guess I’ll be finding out soon enough!

Only bought the PS3 for GT - did the same with the PS2, so I’m REALLY keen to see the full version of GT5 ;)

My kids play games on it - Call Of Duty 4 is awesome, just haven’t had time to have a go myself yet. I do play Stardust HD when I’m too impatient for GT’s load times though.

Yep mee too! Super Stardust HD trophies are a pain in the a** to get! :D I think it’s really hard! I showed your blog to one of my friends who also plays GT5 Prologue and he said that you drive like a pro! :D He has some trouble with the F40 race. It’s tough because of the the penalty. It’s really hard! :D

I hope I’m not boring you with all my comments :D You know Your videos are really an inspiration :D

    ThX again!
