GT by Gran Turismo. I only caught onto GT with the advent of GT3 on the PS2 and was immediately and irrevocably hooked. The GT4 came out. Even better. Now we have GT5 Prologue while Polyphony Digital finish the full version which is taking a long long time. From what I read it may not make release this year!

This site is just somewhere for me to record my progress, put up some nice pics & videos of the cars & races and generally talk about what is as far as I’m concerned the greatest game on the planet.

Before GT, I’ve obsessively played:

• Quake - from 1 to 4. Quake 3 Arena was/is the best
• ID’s other shooters: Doom & Wolfenstein
• Populous
• Age of Empires
• The entire X-Wing series (the first one was the best)
• The entire Wing Commander Series (3 was the best)
• Sonic the Hedgehog (Megadrive)

Last year I ditched the PC as a serious gaming platform. It’s simply too expensive and now the PS3 is my weapon of choice. Some say it’s expensive, but it’s a steal if you’ve been spending about £1000 a year trying to keep a PC up to running the latest and greatest!
